Keep your glass clear
Isopropyl alcohol gets glass the cleanest. Five steps and your glass tip is ready again.

Let it cool and pre-rinse
First let the glass cool down completely. With the EHLE glass tip, pull out the used Kailar filter and throw it away. Then give the glass a quick rinse under warm water.

Soak in isopropyl alcohol
Place the glass in a small container of isopropyl alcohol, at least 90%, and leave it for about 5 to 10 minutes. This loosens the residue.

Brush gently
Clean inside and out with a soft brush. With the Twisted, take a look through the twisted channels from the front.

Rinse
Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Air dry
Let it dry completely. Then the Twisted goes back into its screw-cap box.
No isopropyl alcohol at hand?
Hot water with a little mild washing-up liquid works too: soak for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

According to the maker, you can also clean it in boiling water. Then let it cool and dry.
Isopropyl alcohol is highly flammable
Do not use it near flames or embers, keep the room well ventilated while cleaning and close the bottle tightly afterwards.

Glass tip or activated carbon filter: which is better?
It’s not either-or. A glass tip is a mouthpiece made of glass: it holds its shape, is reusable and has no paper taste. An activated carbon filter can hold back certain substances from the smoke and is thrown away after smoking.
With the EHLE x Kailar glass tip you use both together: glass at the front, a Kailar filter behind it. The Twisted is a pure glass filter, with no activated carbon at all.
